On May 17, we will be at HS. Which Fantasmic show would be better to attend if we also want to view the fireworks for Star Wars Weekends? Is it even possible (time-wise) to get from the Fantasmic arena after the first showing to the front of the park?

    Hello, John,

Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios are an annual tradition with my family, and Symphony in the Stars became an instant family favorite when we saw it last year. On May 17, 2015, Fantasmic! is at 9:00 pm with Symphony in the Stars at 9:45, so you should be able to do both.  Fantasmic! is about 25 minutes long, so you would have a 10-15 minute window to walk from one location to another.  However, you may end up standing toward the back of the fireworks crowd.  If you do this, I would try to sit toward the back near an exit at Fantasmic! so you could be in the front of the crowd when the show ends as others may be have the same plan as you.

If you go to the Symphony in the Stars first, especially if you want a closer viewing spot, you can watch the fireworks then go to Fantasmic! since the second show starts at 10:30 pm. Oftentimes, too, the second showing has a smaller crowd, so if you don't mind staying out later, it might be an option where you don't have to rush quite so much from one spot to another.

Wishing you a great trip; please let us know if you have any further questions.
