How do I maximize my visit (Feb 17th depart Feb 20th) Wyndham Resort traveling with my granddaughter. Her birthday is within the same week-she'll be 12. How's the weather during those dates? Help granma make this an amazing birthday trip

Hi, Sheryl! I've just joined the Grandmother Club this year, so I'm all about making magical memories with your granddaughter. Let's see what we can do to help you make the most of your upcoming visit.

If you haven't purchased your theme park tickets, now is the time to do it. Having your theme park tickets allows you to book FastPass+ attraction selections. FastPass+ is free, and as a guest of the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort, you can book your attractions up to 60 days before you arrive. This gives you an initial three attractions per day that you can use the FastPass+ line, making your wait time shorter in many instances than the regular standby line. Once you've used those three, you can use the My Disney Experience app on your smart phone or an in-park kiosk to get an additional pass. It's a great time saver and a way to maximize your fun.

You may want to make a dining reservation to enjoy a special birthday dinner. Definitely stop at guest services at the theme park to get your free birthday button, but letting her pick a special meal or a character meal might be a fun way to celebrate.

The weather in February is typically comfortable. Daytime highs in the mid-70s can be expected and you might see lows in the low 50s. Dress in layers, and utilize the locker rentals for bulkier items.

I hope you have the most incredible vacation, Sheryl! Make lots of memories with your beautiful princess.
