    Rebecca from AZ Asked

Will the Max Pass work during the Magic morning?

Hello, Rebecca! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking a question about two of my very favorite things – Disney MaxPass and early admission!

My family and I are always at the gates before the parks open to get an early start to our days. This is key, I have found, to seeing and doing the most without hardly waiting in lines. In my experience, you can absolutely select your first FASTPASS using Disney MaxPass during Magic Morning at Disneyland Park. However, the return time is typically after the park has opened for general admission. So, I would grab a FASTPASS for something as soon as you enter the park, and then focus your Magic Morning on riding attractions that do not offer FASTPASS. Peter Pan’s Flight, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, and Alice in Wonderland are all great choices as these queues tend to build up fast and remain long throughout the day.

Another tip to be aware of is if they let you through the park gates early and hold you at a rope until the park opens for Magic Morning, you can select your first FASTPASS while you are waiting for rope drop. As soon as you are through the turnstiles, Disney MaxPass is available to you. Further, always pay attention to the time displayed when you can select your next FASTPASS. Often, you can select another FASTPASS before it’s time to redeem your original FASTPASS. By selecting subsequent FASTPASSES as soon as you are able, you are almost guaranteed to make the most efficient use of your time.

I hope you have an amazing time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
