Is the mattress on the hidden Murphy beds removable? We have cousins that want to be together so was thinking of putting the Murphy mattress on the floor in the other room.

Hello Deborah and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's our pleasure to assist you with your upcoming magical stay at Walt Disney World Resort.
Some of my most memorable Disney trips have been those which I've shared with extended family and close friends therefore I can absolutely relate trying to accommodate everyone's differing sleeping arrangements!  During some vacations we've truly been grateful of the versatility of the pull-down Murphy beds which are offered in select Disney Resort Hotels.  In my own experience of using Murphy beds I've never previously considered removing the mattress for fear of causing damage or indeed creating any unnecessary difficulties for Mousekeeping.  However I am happy to share that some select Disney Resorts do offer roll-away style beds which are generally available on a 1st come, 1st served rental basis but please know these beds cannot be used to increase the rooms stated occupancy.  To enquire about current availability and to request roll-away beds at your chosen Resort I suggest speaking with a helpful Cast Member by dialling the phone number for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations contained within this Walt Disney World Phone Directory.
Plus I also thought you may find it useful to know that quite often when I'm researching for my own families practically perfect in every way Disney stay I've utilised this handy Compare Disney Resorts online planning tool which clearly provides detailing for all rooms including those for maximum occupancy.
    Have a great Disney day.
