    Anne from NY Asked

Does it matter too much where we sit for the Spirit of Aloha dinner? Will we NOT have shade in category 3 seats? Will my son still be invited to dance onstage is we are in category 3? Thanks!

Greetings, Anne, welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with these great questions.

Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is an entertaining authentic luau with spell-binding dancers, musicians, and a real life fire-knife performer! The story of a local girl heading to the mainland for college is hosted by Auntie Wini enhanced by incredible music and dancing while you feast on authentic tropical cuisine.

The show takes place in Luau Cove, a covered venue offering table seating with overhead ceiling fans for your comfort. Although the seating is categorized, typically all children are invited to participate in the dancing festivities onstage. If you are celebrating a special occasion, be sure to let the Cast Member know when you are seated and efforts will be made to acknowledge you during the show. As well, specialty celebration cakes are available for an additional charge and should be ordered 48 hours in advance by calling (407) 827-2253.

Anne, don't forget to customize and control your vacation before and during your visit through My Disney Experience online and mobile app for Advanced Dining Reservations, FastPass+ selections, personalizing MagicBands and more.

Prepare for your upcoming visit with Walt Disney World Resorts newest attractions, shows and experiences through Awaken Summer.

We wish you unforgettable memories and a delicious meal at Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Anne and would be honored to assist you with your plans in the near future.
