Does it matter if I buy Disney tickets or magic bands first if I plan to link them? Do I need both before I can make fast pass reservations 30 days out?

    Hey there, Kathy!

Welcome back! We're excited to help you plan your Disney vacation!

To secure FastPass+ selections, you will need to have park tickets. The benefit of buying your park tickets as far in advance as possible is to give you the opportunity to secure those FastPass+ attractions. You'll need to be like Dash from the Incredibles and grab those FastPass+ quickly! If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you can choose your FastPass+ choices 60 days before your arrival date and 30 days before your arrival date if you are staying off property.

Magic Bands can be linked to your My Disney Experience account at any time before or during your Disney vacation. If you choose not to have a Magic Band for this trip, you can use admission cards, which are used just like Magic Bands!

    Wishing you magic and memories!
