I got married a few months ago and finally have finalized the process of changing my last name. I have an AP and was wondering what the process looks like for having my name changed on my pass. Do I need to go to the ticket booths to have this done?

Greetings, Kristina, and congratulations on your exciting news! I hope you’re loving married life. There’s no better place for newlyweds to spend quality time together than at the Disneyland Resort! My husband and I spent many date nights at the parks together shortly after we were married, and we continue to whenever we can, 11 years later!

I also remember the excitement (and sometimes the tediousness) of updating your documents and credit cards with your new last name. I’m happy to report that there’s a simple process for changing your name on your Annual Passport. You can make this change at the Main Entrance Ticket  Booths – bring along your valid government-issued photo ID that has your new last name on it, and you should be all set.

Here’s the Entertainment Schedule for your arrival date of March 8. There are so many fun and exciting things happening that day, from Mickey’s Soundsational Parade, to Mickey’s Mix Magic with Fireworks, and even Fantasmic! To top it off, World of Color is also back, along with the 2019 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! You are going to have an epic day in the parks… enjoy!

Plus, you just may have to celebrate your new last name with this adorable Minnie Mouse Bride Ear Headband – isn’t it the cutest?! And for your groom – this Mickey Mouse Ear Hat is so handsome!

Wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
