We have a Mama Melrose ADR/fantasmic package for September but my girls don't eat too much, so wonder whether it's worth saving the dining credit and just paying out of pocket? Does each person have to order a meal to qualify for the Fantasmic package?

    Hi Donna!

The Fantasmic! Dining Package is a fabulous way to have dinner and entertainment lined up for your evening at Disney's Hollywood Studios!  The VIP seating voucher will give you peace of mind knowing that'll your seat is waiting for you at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater!

You are correct, each person in the dining party must purchase the package to get the VIP seating voucher, so if your children are age 3 and above, they'll need to get the Fantasmic! Dining Package as well.  Here's some information compiled from the above page for you to quickly look over:

    The Hollywood Brown Derby
$56.99 for adults; $16.99 for children

    Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano
$37.99 for adults; $12.99 for children

Hollywood & Vine (an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet)
$35.99 for adults; $19.99 for children

If you have a FastPass+ selection available, I'd consider using that instead, and maybe grabbing a quick bite somewhere before the show.  I know my kids have their days where they won't eat much, but with all the walking and playing we do at Walt Disney World, they seem to eat (and sleep) quite well!

    Have a magical vacation!
