Mom And Son On Run

We're making our first visit in a few weeks, and one of us is blind in one eye and can't see 3-D movies, etc. However, sometimes events marked 3-D are only about 10 seconds worth of 3-D. Can you tell me about the attractions marked 3-D?

Hello Amy and thank you for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I expect you're both beginning to feel rather excited about your rapidly approaching trip to Walt Disney World Resort?  I love it when my counter to Disney gets down into lower digits!
Some Attractions are indeed enhanced with the use of 3-D effects in their shows and of course they are fun to watch, but as you rightly say the 3-D moments are fleeting and intermittent throughout these movies.  I do believe you'll both be able to enjoy 3-D experiences together and I know you'll just love the extra sensory shows containing special 4-D effects like Mickey's PhilharMagicIt's Tough to be a Bug! or my personal favorite Muppet*Vision 3-D.
You may wish to take a look at Services for Guests with Visual Disabilities where you can read about hiring audio description devices at Walt Disney World Resort and for your further information here is a list of Attractions with Audio Descriptions.
A Cast Member will only be too happy to speak with you about any of these services on 407 827 7935.
If I can help sprinkle some extra pixie dust on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
