We will be making our first trip to WDW Sept 16-24! Our daughter will be 6 1/2 and our son will be 3 1/2. What is the best order to visit the parks in? We arrive early afternoon on the 16th and leave early morning on the 24th.

    Hello Meghan!

YEAH!!!  Your very first MAGICAL trip to Disney World!!!!!  You all are going to have the BEST time!!!!

OK...here is the order I would visit each Disney Theme Park:

September 16th - I would take it easy and NOT visit a Disney Theme Park that day.
    September 17th - Magic Kingdom
    September 18th - Hollywood Studios
    September 19th - EPCOT
    September 20th - Animal Kingdom
September 21st - Take it EASY day!  Spend some time at the pool and go shopping at Downtown Disney!
    September 22nd - Hollywood Studios
    September 23rd - Magic Kingdom

    A couple of notes:

    *  You will find some people like to wait to visit Magic Kingdom later in your vacation.  I think it is BEST to start your vacation off with a BANG!!!
    *  The best two parks with small children are Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios!  That is why my family will visit these parks twice.
    *  My family always tries to build a "Take It Easy Day" into our itinerary.  It allows my family to slow down and do some fun and relaxing things together as a family.

I hope this helps in your planning!  If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
