We are going to be making our first trip to WDW in July with our 5yr old son. My question is what are allowed to bring into the park? Drinks, snacks, little toys for waiting in line?

    Hi Misty,

It's a great idea to bring all of the above.  You are absolutely allowed to bring in your own drinks and snacks as long as nothing is in a glass container.  I often stock up on Disney themed fruit snacks, dried fruit and graham crackers at home.  If we're waiting for a parade or an attraction that is outside, they can have the snack while they wait.  It saves time & money.

Bringing small toys for waiting in line is another great idea.  Your local dollar store may have some great options: bubbles, stickers, travel sized Etch-a-Sketch and Rubik's Cubes are just a few of the toys we've brought along with us in the parks.  Also, I know everything is digital these days, but disposable cameras are a lot of fun to give to you kids on vacation.  You never know what they'll see through their little eyes that we, as adults, might miss.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
