Hello! We are making our first ever trip to WDW this October! Our plane lands at 5:30pm. We were thinking of going to MNSSHP that evening. We will be using Magical Express. Is that too late to go to the event to get the full experience?

    Hi Mary,

I absolutely love Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!  In all honesty, I could totally sell you the event, but the Moms Panel is here to give you our honest opinions with tried and true experience.

I would not spend the money on the ticket when you're going to be there late in the evening.  You're plane is scheduled to land at 5:30, but there could be a plane delay (hopefully not).  Magical Express takes over an hour in travel time to get to Walt Disney World and then a little more time to get you to your resort.  Add the wait time to actually get on the bus.  While it's a super convenient service that I highly recommend, your arrival time and your transportation time from the airport is working against you attending the event on your first night there.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is DEFINITELY worth the money.  It's an incredibly fun event and worth every cent.  My family and I look forward to it every single year and it truly has become a  family tradition.

Here is a tip: The official start time is 7:00pm, but you'll be able to enter the park at 4:00...which gives you an extra 3 HOURS of fun!

I hope this helps you.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel, Mary.  Wishing you a magical vacation!
