When making fast passes for pandora are there 2 rides? And can you only fast pass one? We usually go straight to expedition Everest and ride 3-4 times and move on. Should we go there first and fast pass pandora or go to pandora first and fast pass expediti

    Hi Shanon,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for sending us this excellent question.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park you may select one attraction from the FastPass+ Tier 1 group and then two from the FastPass+ Tier 2 category. Both Avatar Flight of Passage and Na'vi River Journey are grouped in Tier 1, while Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain is now in the Tier 2 category. Therefore, you may potentially select a FastPass+ for both Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain on the very same day.

I highly recommend securing FastPass+ reservations for Avatar Flight of Passage. It is by far, THE MOST amazing ride ever! You will undertake an incredible Na'vi rite of passage called Iknimaya. This means you will be flying on the back of a powerful animal called an Ikran; which is more commonly known to us humans as a Banshee. So, be sure to rise to the challenge! Or as the Na'vi would say: "Sivako!"

Trust me when I tell you that you'll want to ride Avatar Flight of Passage more than once. So, if you are planning to arrive early (before park opening), I suggest making your way to Pandora – The World of Avatar first. That way, you may be able to experience riding on the back of a Banshee more than once; and possibly go on the Na'vi River Journey too!

Wishing you a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
