We are making dining reservations. One member of our party may be brining a guest on our trip, but nothing is certain. If we make a reservation for 6 people and wind up with only 5 people, will that be a problem? Thanks!

    Hi, Katilin!

If you make an Advanced Dining Reservation for six and only five arrive, you will not be penalized for that one missing person. I encourage you to make the reservations for six, as it is always easier than trying to add an extra person. On our own visits in the past, one or two people have not made it to dinner as they either fell ill or were exhausted with how much fun they had! We have never had to pay the cancellation fee for that one person. However, if all six of you do not arrive - you will be charged the cancellation fee (typically $10 per person, but may vary depending on the type of reservation).

    Have a magical day, Katilin!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
