makign reservations and so many of the TS meals for kids are spagetti, macaroni, hamburgers/hotdogs or chicken fingers. My boys (8&10) are good eaters (no seafood) and won't be satisfied with this if I am eating a "real meal" suggestions?

    Hi, Gail!

As a Guest not on the Disney Dining Plan, a child may order from the "regular menu" (an adult is generally not permitted to order from the children's menu, however).

If the menu item looks good, but you are concerned about the amount of food in a grownup portion, you might ask the Cast Member serving you if there is a way to have a "child-size" portion of an adult option.

If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, your child will  need to stay on the children's menu. From the FAQ:

"Q: Can Guests ages 3-9 order anything off the menu?
    A. No, Guests ages 3-9 must order from a children’s menu, where available. Many children’s menus offer healthy options in addition to kid favorites. The Disney Dining Plan is unavailable for Guests under the age of 3, but they may share from an adult plate at no charge, or a meal may be purchased from the menu. The price of the meal will be added to your bill."

Please don't be afraid to ask your Cast Members for options. Chefs and servers are happy to work with their Guests to accommodate all reasonable requests, ensuring a great time being had by all.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
