    Samantha from FL Asked

Hello, I am a major disney kid at heart and am looking forward to celebrating my 26th birthday at Disney World. I've already eaten at Be Our Guest and CRT. Are there any other experiences like those to make a bday extra special?

    Hello Samantha!

Thanks for bringing this great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The only thing better than a celebration is a DISNEY celebration! As you can imagine, there are many great ways to celebrate a milestone while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

My first recommendation is a Specialty Fireworks Cruise. You and your guests can enjoy a lovely boat ride that culminates in a great view of one of the firework spectaculars. You can even have the boat decked out with a banner and balloons. The cruise includes snacks and soft drinks.

If an evening boat ride isn't your thing, I would recommend dinner at California Grill. This award-winning dining location sits atop Disney's Contemporary Resort. Along with a fantastic meal, you can also enjoy the Magic Kingdom's firework show, Happily Ever After, from the restaurant's observation deck. It makes for a truly magical celebration.

My final recommendation is a "treat yourself" day at one of the fantastic spas found at some of the Disney Resort Hotels. One option would be your favorite spa treatment at Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. You could top your relaxation with Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room.

These are just a few ideas to get you started as you plan your birthday. If you have more questions or would like more recommendations, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel - we love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
