How does the Magical Express work if you fly from Canada on Air Canada with Orlando as the only U.S stop.?

    Hi Robert!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

You can still use Disney's Magical Express to get to and from the Walt Disney World Resort, assuming you are staying in a Disney owned and operated resort hotel.  However, you will have to go through US Customs and Border Control.  Basically, when you land in Orlando, you will have to pick up your luggage yourself at the luggage carousel and go through US Customs.  Then you can just head over to the Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center with luggage in tow.

For the record, I personally collect my own luggage and don't use the DME luggage tags when I fly into Orlando.  I like to know that my luggage and I will arrive at my resort at the same time.  If I let DME pick up my bags and magically deliver them, they might not show up for several hours.  Of course some guests don't mind that at all.  However, I like knowing my bags have indeed made it to Florida and are with me.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
