What are "Magic Shots"? I see if referred to in another question, but don't know what it is.

    Hi Brook ~

I love taking advantage of Disney PhotoPass Photographers! They capture so many incredible moments during our trips.

Magic shots involve the Disney PhotoPass Photographers asking you to pose in a certain way. They don't usually tell you why but play along and have a great time. When you view your Disney PhotoPass photos online, you will find some surprises in those photos.

On our last trip, the Disney PhotoPass Photographer asked us to hold our arms up at opposite angles. When we viewed the picture online, Olaf was there! We have also had pictures with Stitch popping up out of the street, Tinker Bell in our hands, and holding a bouquet of Mickey balloons. My son also got to do one where he was holding baby Simba in his arms - it was so cute.

They will sometimes do magic shots exclusive to special events as well. They often take pictures in front of the hearse at the Haunted Mansion for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Guests will find a ghost driver on the hearse or hitchhiking ghosts that may actually follow them home. So fun!

Not all of the Disney PhotoPass locations offer "magic shots" but it never hurts to ask.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR to help you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
