Hello We will be going to the Magic Kingdom on Sept. 6. I have made reservations at Chef Mickey but was only able to get brunch at 11:45. Can we enter , leave and reenter the Magic Kingdom with a one day ticket?

    Hi Judith,

Absolutely! You are welcome to come and go as you like on a one-day ticket. In fact, a midday break to dine at Chef Mickey's sounds like a perfect plan. I suggest arriving at the Magic Kingdom entrance about a half hour before opening time to get in as much fun as possible before your brunch. The park is often least crowded first thing in the morning.

Around 11 a.m., head toward the entrance again. Chef Mickey's is in the Contemporary resort next to Magic Kingdom. You can catch the resort monorail, which stops inside the Contemporary. Or you can walk to the Contemporary in about 10 minutes. Just look for the brick sidewalk on your left as you exit.

After you've had your delicious brunch, rested and visited with Mickey and his friends, you can head back to Magic Kingdom until closing time if you wish. I like to make our family's FastPass+ selections for later in the day, at 2 p.m. or after, so that we have a plan when we return after a midday break.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and please let us know if you have any other planning questions. We're happy to help. Wishing you a magical visit to Walt Disney World!
