Hi, we are going to Magic Kingdom for one day. How much is the parking to park our car? Also, do we take a shuttle from the parking lot to the park? Does that cost anything? Just trying to figure out all the little expenses so we know how much to budget.

    Hi Ashley!

I'm excited to hear that you will be visiting Magic Kingdom! You are going to have a fantastic day enjoying the attractions, Character Experiences and entertainment at this classic park. In fact, I think it's my favorite theme park at Walt Disney World Resort because I have so many incredible memories enjoying it as a child and now with my children! Be sure to take advantage of the FastPass+ System to make the most of your time in Magic Kingdom.

Parking at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks will be based on the type of vehicle you will be parking. Keep in mind that prices are always subject to change, but currently standard parking for regular vehicles is $25 per day and preferred parking is $45-$50 per day. You can get the latest prices and more information at the Walt Disney World Resort Parking page.

When you are visiting Magic Kingdom, you will park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then can take either a ferry boat or the monorail to Magic Kingdom. Both of these transportation types are part of the Walt Disney World Resort complimentary resort transportation system, so there is no additional charge to ride them. In fact, my little ones love the monorail so much that it's often a highlight of our vacation!

Let us know if we can help you again as you continue planning your magical trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
