If I am at magic kingdom and want to go to Hollywood studios how do I get there?

Hello, Kenda! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

With complimentary transportation options available throughout Walt Disney World Resort, getting between Theme Parks is a breeze! From Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll want to take a complimentary bus from one Park to the other. When you leave Magic Kingdom Park, look to your left as you exit. You'll see a large green board listing all of the bus stops and destinations. Simply consult the board to find the stop number for Disney's Hollywood Studios, and walk that way! Buses typically run every 20 minutes, so you shouldn't have to wait too long for one to arrive. Once you board the bus, it generally takes about 15 minutes to get between those two Parks.

Should you have any questions or concerns about where to catch the bus (or how to return to your original destination), simply ask any Cast Member for help. They'll point you in the right direction! Speaking of directions, though, you can also use your My Disney Experience mobile app to get directions from one Walt Disney World Resort destination to another. Just find your destination on the home screen's map, tap its name, and then tap "Get Directions." Plug in your starting point and hit "Search" to get directions for walking, or taking the bus, boat or monorail (if available).

You also have the option of hiring Disney's new Minnie Van Service which works in conjunction with the Lyft app on your smartphone. It's an excellent alternative when your party wants to travel in privacy and style from one Walt Disney World Resort destination to another.

    Enjoy your visit, Kenda!
