We will be at Magic Kingdom for evening extra magic hours at the end of August. Is Columbia Harbor House typically open during these hours, I know it can change, but has it ever been open at 10 or 11 pm during extra magic hours? THanks!

Hi there, Rosalie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for sending over another great question!

Extra Magic Hours are a great way to squeeze in a bit more park time when visiting Walt Disney World Resort! These hours are held daily either before or after normal operating hours in at least one of the four theme parks and are open to Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Select attractions, shops, and dining locations are open during Extra Magic Hours and can be changed based on a particular day. Be sure to check out the Park Hours webpage or a printed time guide to find out which theme parks are offering Extra Magic Hours!

Though I can’t be certain that Columbia Harbor House will be open on the particular evening you are hoping to experience Extra Magic Hours, I can say that all dining locations open during Extra Magic Hours have historically remained open until the park closes. So, if this particular dining location is open during Extra Magic Hours, it will remain open for the duration of the extended park operating hours!

If your first choice of dining location is not open, I may have a potential alternative as well! One of my personal favorite ways to spend evening Extra Magic Hours is picking up a snack or meal and enjoying it in my favorite area of Magic Kingdom. For me, this would be Main Street, USA! I absolutely love watching Cinderella’s Castle and eating my meal! It really is the perfect way to end a magical day!

Best of luck continuing to plan for your August trip!
