Disney's Magical Express transportation

How do I make Magic Express reservations?

    Hi Steve!

You've made your Disney Resort Hotel reservation and now you've booked your flights. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is finally starting to become a reality!

There are multiple ways to reserve your seats on Disney's Magical Express, which is the complimentary transportation between Orlando's International Airport and your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Some super planners already know their flight info and can take care of all bookings in one swoop. Those of us who need a bit more time to make our plans come together can call Walt Disney World Resort's Guest Reservation Line at (407) 939-1936 between 7:00 A.M. and 11 P.M. EST any day of the week. Call anytime before your vacation to add this detail, but note that it is best to book at least a month before your travel date.

There's also an online Magical Express Reservation form. I used this method in January to book my parents' Magical Express reservation, and while I don't think either of us received a confirmation email, they did receive their luggage tags as normal a month before our vacation.

I'm more of the last-minute mom, and I can vouch from personal experience that you can walk-up to the Disney Magical Express check-in area at MCO without having reserved a spot on the bus and still be shuttled to your Disney Resort Hotel. You will have to take your own luggage, but rest assured that you won't be stranded at the airport should you forget about making this reservation altogether.

Start brushing up on your Disney trivia, Steve, as there will be a quiz on the bus. And pick seats close to the front so you can get a picture of the World's best Welcome sign. We'll See You Real Soon!
