What do the magic express luggage tags look like? Are they the hard Disney tags we received?

Hello Mike, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks! I am sure that you are putting the finishing touches on your amazing vacation.

Hopefully, you either called booked Disney’s Magical Express online or called (407) 939-1936 with your flight information. You should be receiving a letter with your travel information and special yellow luggage tags in them. These luggage tags will have your name, the reservation name and your resort printed on them along with a few barcodes. These tags will look very similar to what the airlines will use when you check your luggage. You will want to place these tags on your luggage just prior to checking them with your airline. Disney’s Magical Express will not look at the “name tags” you probably received with your MagicBands.

You can always contact Disney’s Magical Express to confirm they have your arrival and departing flight information. If you do not receive your luggage tags before you leave, there is no need to worry. When you arrive at Orlando International Airport and check-in with the Cast Member at the Magical Express Welcome Center, let them know that you did not receive your “yellow luggage tags.” The cast member will need to see your bag claim ticket numbers in order for Disney’s Magical Express to pick up your bags and bring them to your resort. Please note that you will need to pack your MagicBands in a carry on bag along with anything you will need for the first 3 to 4 hours after you arrive at your resort. Your bags will be brought to your room once they arrive.

    See ya real soon,
