As a fellow Canadian, I can understand your frustration at not being able to receive your
MagicBands at home prior to your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, MagicBands can’t be shipped internationally and can only be shipped to addresses located in the United States.
That being said, if you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, the complimentary set of MagicBands that you’ll get with your stay will be “automagically” linked to your My Disney Experience account. This means that you don’t have to link each MagicBand to its respective owner’s account.
If, however, you’re not staying “on site”, you don’t need to have a MagicBand linked to your My Disney Experience account in order to make your party’s FastPass+ selections up to 30 days prior to your visit. Just set up your party members’ respective accounts, make sure you link their Theme Park Tickets to these accounts (you’ll get confirmation numbers that you can use to link them when you purchase them online) and you should be good to go! If anyone in your party wishes to use a MagicBand during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort, they can be purchased at several merchandise locations or even at the Guest Relations ticket window where you’ll pick up your admission cards.
