    Virginia from FL Asked

We have magic bands. Can they be reused for future trips or are new ones required? We have been several times but they always send new ones. If they can't be reused, can they be recycled somehow?

    Hi Virginia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

You’ll be happy to know that you don’t need to get a new MagicBand for every visit to Walt Disney World Resort. If you’d prefer to re-use one of your existing MagicBand during a visit, simply “decline” any MagicBands associated with your upcoming stay or other Theme Park Ticket orders in My Disney Experience, and you should be good to go.

As for recycling, I’d look into what the policies are for recycling plastics and electronics in your neighbourhood. They vary from county-to-county so you’ll need to check into what the policies are where you live for more information.

I hope my answer helps you plan your next Disney Parks vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
