Mom and Child wearing Magic Bands

We have our magic bands for our hotel and we bought our park tickets last week online. Do we need to link our tickets to our bands or are they automatically linked?

Hi, Michelle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for bringing your question to us. When you purchased your tickets, the system should have required you to sign on to your My Disney Experience account. As long as you were using the same account as your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation is linked, then you are good to go! With these connected to the same account, you will be able to use your MagicBand to open your room's door, enter the theme parks and FastPass+ queues, and even charge purchases to your room's account as long as you have also linked a credit card to your Resort stay.

Michelle, if you have not yet linked your Resort stay to your account, you can use this handy Claims link to get all of your reservation in their spot. Notice all of the cool things on that page you can link? I really want to encourage you to make the most of all of these vacation additions. Advance Dining Reservations are highly encouraged. We like to reserve our spot for at least one table-service dining location each day to give us a chance to sit down together as a family instead of rushing around gathering the meal. With your tickets attached, you can then make FastPass+ selections, which can help you experience some of your favorite must-do Disney attractions each day. I am a huge fan of Memory Maker as it allows me to download all of the Disney PhotoPass memories taken of our family during our unforgettable vacation. There is a great discount on this product if you purchase it at least three days in advance of your trip, so check it out soon!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation where the magic is endless! Please stop by again if you have any other questions for us. Hope to see ya real soon!
