With the magic bands now avail to off site people, will they work with our military tickets. We buy them on base and activate them at the gate of the first park we visit. So we don't have them ahead of time. And what benefits would we get with them. Thx

    Hi Debbie,

Yes, you are able to add your Armed Forces Salute military discounted tickets to your My Disney Experience account and to your purchased MagicBand. You can add these using the ticket number on the back. That number will need to be added to the Tickets and Passes section of your account. You just have to click the "Link Tickets" button and add in your numbers. From there, you'll be able to link tickets to MagicBands if you've added them to your account when you purchased them.

If you buy your Armed Forces Salute tickets at least 30 days before your Walt Disney World visit, you can make FastPass+ selections. The window for FastPass+ selections for those staying off Walt Disney World property start 30 days out from your trip, so purchasing your tickets as early as you can and getting them added to your My Disney Experience will allow you to take advantage of MyMagic+.

I hope that answered your question, Debbie. If you have any more questions about your military discounted tickets, how MagicBands and MyMagic+ will work for offsite guests, or any other part of your upcoming vacation, please feel free to as me at any time. I'm always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
