Our Magic Bands arrived yesterday. The kids are excited, and my son's orange band already has some Tigger-ific stripes. My husband, however, finds his band uncomfortable. Does he need it inside the parks? Can he wears it in his belt loop instead?

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I, too, found the MagicBands a bit cumbersome at first. It's totally fine for your husband to attach the MagicBand to a belt loop or bag. You would want to be sure it's securely fastened and that he does carry it into the parks, as it really is your Key to the World during your trip. You can use it almost exclusively throughout your vacation, entering the theme parks, paying for meals, utilizing FastPass+, opening your guest room door, and more. He will grow to love the convenience of the MagicBand! After a day or so I became more comfortable with the weight of it on my wrist and preferred to wear it versus carry it.

Any other questions? I'm happy to help.

Best wishes for a magical vacation!
