Can a magic band user get into one theme park using the band, then I use their ticket to Fastpass at a kiosk in another park, concurrently? Trying to have half the family go to one park to use extra am hours while I Fastpass at another park (Avatar)?

    Dear Julia,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great planning question for your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

I'm sorry to tell you that unfortunately you would not be able to use a guest's MagicBand in one park and their hard ticket in another park. The system connects the use of the MagicBand to enter a park with the use of a FastPass+ selection, so you wouldn't be able to use a MagicBand to enter one park and a FastPass+ selection at a different park at the same time. Additionally, you are not able to use someone else's ticket for any purpose. I wouldn't want you to have an issue with that that resulted in you or another family member becoming unable to enter a park due to misuse of a ticket. If a family member has a FastPass+ selection for it, they can use My Disney Experience to transfer the FastPass+ to you using the "change party" feature. That would only work if you have not exceeded your pre-made FastPass+ selections for the day yet.

If you wish to ride Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom and you cannot get a FastPass+ selection for it, I recommend that you arrive up to an hour early at Disney's Animal Kingdom and then you will be able to line up to get on it early.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
