Do i have to get a magic band for my daughter if she is 2 and won’t need a park ticket?

Hi Katelyn! In just a few short days you will be arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort! Are you counting down the days until your arrival? I know I would be!

Since your daughter is 2-years old, she will not need a MagicBand. If she is anything like my daughter, she may feel left out when everyone else is scanning their MagicBands. We always let my daughter "pretend" by lifting her up and letting her tap her wrist on the Mickey head when entering the theme parks or going through the FastPass+ line in an attraction. This always brings a smile to her face!

There is so much to experience at each of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks with little ones. Between attractions that don't have any height requirements, characters that are ready for hugs and high-fives and shows that are entertaining enough to hold my young children's attention, you are sure to have a wonderful visit!

Before you visit, be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app. There is no cost to download and use the app, and the value you gain from being able to check park hours, see wait times, view showtimes, reserve FastPass+ and even order food from many Quick-Service locations, is priceless!

Please come back and visit us again with any other questions you may have! Enjoy your trip!
