I just made reservations for the wishes dessert party in April and was told it is "standing room only". When we went last year the guests all had assigned tables, but could stand up to see the fireworks. Is this new?

    Hi Diana!

The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party is an incredible Dessert Party that I have personally experienced two times. Both times we had a table with a name tag to sit at and eat our desserts.  The Wishes fireworks viewing is standing room only so that is when everyone moves from the tables to the Tomorrowland Terrace railing to view the fireworks.  I know that guests are not allowed to pull up the chairs from the tables to sit and view the fireworks.  You can watch the Wishes from your table, but you may have some people in front of your view of the fireworks if you decide to stay seated at your table.  If you click on the link above you will see that the standing room only refers to the viewing area of the fireworks themselves.

I hope that you make some magical memories during the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party on your next trip to Walt Disney World!
