I made a reservation for Cape May to celebrate my daughter's high school graduation. I noticed there was a spot where I can add what we are celebrating so I added it. What exactly does it mean to add a celebration?

Congratulations to your daughter on her upcoming graduation!

Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to celebrate such an important milestone. When you "add a celebration" to your dining reservation, the restaurant notes it on your reservation. Typically, a complimentary dessert such as a cupcake is delivered at the end of the meal.

For example, on our most recent trip to WDW, I added a celebration to our reservation at Chef Mickey's. My son had just turned 11. At the end of our meal, he received a cupcake and the waitress even lit a candle atop it so we could sing "happy birthday" to him.

It's just a small way for the Cast Members to recognize your special occasion.

    Enjoy!!
