We made dining reservations months ago (Akershus breakfast, 1900 Park Fare dinner), and the prices listed were $15/child and $35.99/adult. Now they are listed as $36 and $59.99. Can this be right? Did they actually double the price in 5 months?

    Hi there, Jennifer!

Disney has a variety of travel seasons, usually determined by the time of year and historical attendance (summer and holidays being the highest). Other variables can affect the "Disney season," including what events might be going on at any of the Parks (Food and Wine Festival, Star Wars Weekends, Disney's Marathon Weekend, etc.).

During peak times, you might find that prices at prix-fixe dining experiences increase, along with demand.Disney does reserve the right to change prices and menu items without notice; the restaurants that might be affected by the price changes include, but are not limited to:

    • 1900 Park Fare
    • Akershus
    • Biergarten
    • Boma
    • Cape May Café
    • Chef Mickey’s
    • Cinderella’s Royal Table
    • Crystal Palace
    • Garden Grill
    • Hollywood and Vine
    • Liberty Tree Tavern
    • ‘Ohana
    • Trails End
    • Tusker House

It might be worth giving a call to (407) WDW-DINE to find out if the price is you pay is contingent on your booking date or your dining date. It's likely that you will be charged the current menu price, but it never hurts to get clarification from a Cast Member.

    See you later, celebrator,
