    Christina from MI Asked

I made all my dining reservations, but how early do I have to be at the restaurant before my reservation time?

Hi Christina!  I absolutely LOVE Dining at the Walt Disney World Resort, and kudos to you for getting your dining reservations squared away in advance!

It is recommended that you arrive at the restaurant's podium at least 5 minutes prior to your reservation time.  You will check in and in most cases receive a "buzzer" which will alert when the next available table that will accommodate your party becomes available.

I personally always plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early which leaves me some leeway in case I experience delays while in route to the restaurant and sometimes, but definitely not always, I am seated upon arrival even though I am early.

I hope I have answered your question and please feel free to write back if I can be of further assistance!  I just know your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort will be a dream come true! -Amanda
