Hi Christina! Experiencing the luxurious side of Disney World at a discount is one of my specialties! Since your children are young, you will likely want to spend a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom, and thus, the resorts closest to that park would be very convenient to you. The Grand Floridian, the Contemporary, and the Polynesian are arguably the most luxurious resorts at WDW, and since they're all on the monorail route, you can zip into and out of the park, which is such a blessing when you're traveling with little ones. You don't even have to take them out of the stroller to get back to your resort; you can just roll them right onto the monorail and back to the room. Of course, the convenience and luxury of these three resorts also means they are among the most expensive of the Disney hotels. Be sure to check out the Special Offers page of the WDW website and unofficial discount sites like www.mousesavers.com to find available room or package discounts to reduce your cost. Alternatively, consider the Wilderness Lodge resort, which is just a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom. Rooms are a bit smaller, but you'll find beautiful theming and luxury there as well, at a much lower price than the monorail resorts. To save even more on your vacation, consider visiting Disney in the Fall or in the Winter after Christmas. You'll find the rates, and the crowds, are much lower then!

Disney has many wonderful restaurants, and the best part is that even the finest ones welcome children and provide them with kid-friendly foods and crayons. My favorite upscale restaurants are the California Grill, Jiko, and Le Cellier. You can save money by using the Dining Plan, eating lunch instead of dinner at table-service restaurants, or sharing meals. Best of all, your two-year-old eats free at buffets!

Come visit me again if I can help you plan your trip!
