Hi, I have lunch reservations at 12:55 for Jungle Skipper Canteen and a FastPass for 7 Dwarves at 1:30-2:30. Will we be able to make it? Thanks!

Hi, Kathryn! Your question asks about two of my favorite things at Walt Disney World Resort. My family and I always visit Magic Kingdom Park on our final day before we head home, and we almost always have lunch at the Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen and try to get in one final ride on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, too.

With a 12:55 lunch reservation and a FastPass window that closes at 2:30, you may be a little pressed for time. While the hosts and hostesses will try to seat you for lunch as close to your reservation time as possible, we have had a few experiences where we've had to wait up to 15 minutes after our reservation time before a table was ready for us. I would suggest either using your My Disney Experience mobile app to try to modify your current reservation to a time closer to noon or 12:30 or swing by the host stand while you're in Adventureland that morning to see if they can seat you earlier. That way you won't be rushed to make it to Fantasyland in time for your Seven Dwarfs adventure.

If you can't change your reservation time, take a look at the Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen's menu online and have your family go ahead and decide what you might like to order. We always start with the Falls Family Falafel and then my husband and I like to share the Curried Vegetable Crew Stew while our daughter loves Congo Connie's Coconut-Curry Concoction followed by the Volcano! dessert. While you're waiting, take a look at the Magic Kingdom Park map to see your quickest route from Adventureland to Fantasyland. Doing these two things should help you make it on time!

    Enjoy,
    Amy
