Hi, We have lunch reservations at the Garden Grille. How much time should we plan for that? I'm trying to make fast passes for the same day.

Hi, Danielle!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My family and I love Garden Grill Restaurant!  We have breakfast at Garden Grill Restaurant almost every time we visit Epcot.  Their cinnamon sticky bun bake is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort foods.  Visiting with Chip 'n' Dale and Farmer Mickey is always fun, and my kids love catching a glimpse of the Living with the Land attraction as the restaurant slowly rotates.

Since all of the meals at Garden Grill Restaurant have a set menu that is served family-style, rather than each guest ordering an individual entree, I have found that our food has always been served quickly at this location.  In my experience, a meal at Garden Grill Restaurant usually takes approximately 45 minutes.  I have always found that 45 minutes gives my family plenty of time to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace and visit with all of the characters as they make their way around the restaurant.  Just to be on the safe side, you might want to allow yourself an hour so that you don't feel rushed.  Also, please remember that when you schedule your FastPass+ selections, you will have an hour time window in which to experience each FastPass+ attraction.  That allows you a bit of wiggle room when planning out your itinerary.

I see that your arrival date falls within this year's Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.  During your lunch at Garden Grill Restaurant, be sure to save some room so that you can sample some of the unique food and beverage offerings at the festival's Global Marketplaces.  In the evening, be sure to check out the Eat to the Beat Concert Series as well.

    See ya real soon!
