How much luggage will realistically fit on a 5-night cruise?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jay!

OH MY DISNEY you are setting out on your high seas adventure on the Disney Wonder next week.  I am so excited for you!  I bet the suitcases are out and your packing lists are ready.

Disney Cruise Line has been very thoughtful and deliberate when designing their staterooms on all four ships.  They know that guests need storage and a place to put those suitcases that bring all their pirate treasures onboard.  Each guest is allowed to bring two bags onboard, and there is space for all of this luggage in your stateroom.  You can store your suitcases under the bed and in the closet with room to spare for all your pirate garb!

We once did a land and sea vacation and between everyone in our family had four large suitcases, two carry on bags and one large garment bag for our formal wear.  Using the space under the bed and in the closet, we were able to store all of this luggage out of the way!  It can be done!

Prior to arriving at the port, be sure to affix the luggage tags provided by Disney Cruise Line before leaving your luggage with the porters.  This will speed up your overall check in experience and ensure that all your bags arrive in a timely manner to your stateroom!

Enjoy making magical memories on your upcoming adventure.  Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you may have before setting sail!  Bon voyage!  Angie
