    Beth from MS Asked

Do they still have the luau at Polynesian Resort if it rains?

    Hi Beth,

It depends on exactly how much it's raining, but if it's a heavy rain or if there are thunderstorms in the area, then yes, the Spirit of Aloha Luau at the Polynesian Village resort will be cancelled.

If you've provided your contact information, then you will get an email or text if the luau is cancelled on an evening for which you have a reservation. You will be asked if you want a refund or if you prefer to be rebooked for a different night. This happened to me once, and we got our refund very quickly.

If you're concerned that the luau might be cancelled, but you haven't heard any news yet, feel free to stop by any park Guest Relations office or any resort concierge desk. They'll be happy to check on the status of the dinner for you.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
