Still loving the panel! ?, planning to stay at the Riverside at POR, 1 of my DD is staying in my friends' room, does that mean her meal credits will be on my friends' card? Is there any way around that?

Hi Stacey, Yes, the meal credits tie in directly with the room. Your daughters credits would be on the room that she is staying in. I'm assuming you're wanting to have your daughter with you in the Parks & may not always be with your friend? At check-in, you will receive a "Key to the World" card for each person. This serves as their room key, Park pass & also has dining credits on it. While the credits are all lumped together for each room, each card is able to access the credits. Your friend can simply give you your daughters card to hold on to and use for her meals. Essentially, you'll just keep track of how many credits you use for your daughter. They'll be deducted from the total for your friends room.

You'll need to pay close attention when you are paying for your meals. At Quick Service restaurants, for example: Let's say you need to order 5 combo meals (one for your daughter). You would order 4 and have them swipe your card (those 4 would come off your total for your room). Then, you would order her meal separately (so it would come off her meal allotment on your friends room). If you swiped just your card, then you would use up 5 credits (and run out of yours while your friend ends up with extras on hers). At Table Service restaurants, you'll need to remember to inform the server that you are on 2 separate dining plans (rooms). When it's time to pay, hand them one card from your room (and tell them how many to take off there) AND hand them your daughters card to use her credit. This actually happens quite often with Grand Gatherings (large groups) because there may be 20 people at the table who are staying in 4 different rooms. The servers are used to having to split the bill between more than one card. You just need to let them know at the beginning that you'll be on separate checks.

    Hope this helps!
