I have a 9 yo who LOVES star wars. I was going to make reservations for the guided tour. Do you think my 4 yo could handle it? Or should I let dad take the 9 yo and I take the 4 yo to a Disney junior character experience?

    Dear Lisa,

Thank you so much for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your galactically spectacular question about your upcoming visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios!

The Star Wars Guided Tour is an extremely immersive and detailed tour, and it is open to ages 4 and up. That being said, I don't think that it would have been a great fit for any of my children when they were 4, since they just seemed to have needed a bit less structured time at that age. As you mention, you might consider a character meal, show, or another experience while your older child is on the tour with Dad. You know your younger child best though, and if you think they would be happy in a longer guided tour environment, then go for it!

Even if you are not on the guided tour itself, you can still sign your child up for Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple and other Star Wars fun! Be sure to do that first thing in the day if you can, since it's a very popular experience and spots go fast!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
