I love rollercoasters, but my tween son is not a fan of my favorite rides. Would we both need a FastPass+ for him to wait in the line with me and take the "chicken exit"? Or are the FastPass+ lines very quick and he should wait outside the rid

Hi, Alicia! Yes, you will both need FastPass+ even if he only wants to experience the preshow and the queue.  Even if he has no intention of riding the attraction and plans on taking the "chicken exit," if he wants to go with you through the FastPass+ line, he will need to have scheduled a FastPass+ time. The amount of time FastPass+ queues take vary among attractions, seasons, and even times of day. So, if you would be worried about him waiting on you alone, I would take him with you through the queue. They are attractions themselves in my opinion.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
