Hi Moms, I love reading your answers, and now have a question of my own! I am going on my own to WDW in November, staying offsite. I have been 3 other times, but this will be my first time going alone. Any advice for a lone 26 year old traveler? Thanks!

    Hi Stephanie,

Welcome to the panel - so glad to have you! Traveling the "world" solo can be awesome fun!  Having the freedom to do what you want, when you want is a bonus. Be sure to take full advantage of rides that offer Single Rider entrances like Test Track @ Epcot, Expedition Everest @ DAK & Rock 'n' Roller Coaster @ DHS.

My #1 recommendation for solo travelers is to do some of the backstage tours & special experiences - click here for a list. My favorite is the Backstage Magic Tour. You get to go behind the scenes of so many different places & learn some really cool insider info.

Traveling solo is also a great time to try out a lot of restaurants. Many of them (even some of the finer ones) now offer counter service so its easier to get in w/o an ADR. Its also a great place to sit & meet people.

I love going to Downtown Disney when traveling solo & taking my time shopping, eating & spending a relaxing day - go early - its less crowded. I'd also recommend Characters in Flight at DTD - a very cool experience!

You could visit the Contemporary Resort & go parasailing - I love doing this - so peaceful & offers a beautiful view.

If you're into speed, check out the Richard Petty Driving Experience. I have it on very good authority that its quite the rush.

You may want to take advantage of some of the nightlife. There are a lot of places but be sure you check out Jellyrolls & Atlantic Dance @ BoardWalk and the lounge at The Wave @ the Contemporary Resort. If you visit Epcot, the Rose & Crown Pub @ the UK Pavilion is loads of fun.

You may want to take the opportunity to just pamper yourself at one of the incredible spas.  Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
