Love the panel!Could someone tell us about the different ticket options? We have always had key to the world cards, but I have heard people talk about paper tickets. Are paper tickets used when people have non disney accommodations?

Paper tickets are issued when a WDW guest purchased Magic Your Way tickets at a Disney store, via a discount broker such as undercovertourist.com or the AAA automobile club or when purchasing tickets only from WDW (such as guests staying off-site).

Key to the World cards usually hold park admission tickets that were purchased via a vacation package.

For instance, the only time we ever purchased a package to WDW was on our honeymoon (many moons ago). I now book a room only reservation at WDW using any recent discounts that have been released. I get tickets via a discount broker. We do not get the dining plan. So our Magic Your Way tickets are always paper tickets.

Beginning in January 2005, the Magic Your Way ticket system became available. Whether tickets will be coded on your room key (Key to the World card) or are separate, all guests must first choose the number of days that they wish to tour the four major theme parks of WDW. This makes up a base ticket.

Next, guests have the option to add-on additional features based on their budget and/or vacation styles. The Park Hopper option lets guests tour more than one park per day. This gives more flexibility for touring, especially when one park closes early. The Water Park Fun and More option gives guests the feature of being able to go to water parks and DisneyQuest. Finally, the No Expiration option allows tickets to be valid for future trips instead of expiring 13 days after date of first use.
