Hi! Love the panel! If my 10 year old is on the dining plan as an adult can he still order off of the kids menu?? He's a bit of a picky eater. Thanks!

Hi Jen! Thanks for an awesome compliment. We absolutely love what we do and it’s guest’s like you that get us so excited to answer these questions!

When we travel to the Walt Disney World Resort, we always get on of the Disney Dining Plans. I find it so convenient to not have to worry about budgeting for dining.  I love that my meals are inevitably “pre-paid.” It’s just one less thing that I have to worry about!

While I cannot guarantee that each restaurant will allow you’re 10 year old to choose from the kids menu, I will say from personal experience that every time I have had this request, the restaurants have gone out of their way to accommodate me!  I have traveled a couple of times with my nephew who was a VERY picky eater and even when he was on the adult dining plan, they did in fact let him choose from the kids menu. There was even one time that he was begging for hot chocolate. It wasn’t offered at the restaurant that we were dining at, but about 15 minutes after we were seated, a smiling cast member set him down a steaming cup of hot chocolate! I love that Disney always seems to go the extra mile.

I would suggest just explaining the situation to your server and I am betting they will try their absolute best to accommodate your family!

I hope you have a magical time! Make sure to say hi to Mickey Mouse for me!
