Hello! Love this panel! Can you use the Rider Switch option with FastPass+ if one of your party chickens out at the last minute? Or is RS only allowed with the standby line? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Laura!

You made me laugh out loud tonight!  Isn't this a Mother's duty to plan every contingency?  Truly I have been in your shoes.  It's ever so lovely to know that it's a small world after all.

The good news is that yes you may utilize the Rider Switch service whether or not your party chooses the standby queue or the FastPass queue.  If one of your children "chickens out" and you need to leave, simply alert the nearest Cast Member.  Tell them about your situation and that you would still like to ride the attraction using the Rider Switch service.  They will give you instructions for what to do based on that particular attraction and where you are in the queue when you hear the first bock bock.

Thank you for writing in to us Laura.  Please come back and visit us if you have any more vacation planning questions.  We love to help!
