Love the panel..!! My question...Why are there Fastpass options for parades and fireworks? How does that work? thanks....

    Hi Shirley!

Excellent question!  I thought the same thing when I first heard of this option.  Choosing a parade or fireworks show for one of your FastPass+ selections gets you a designated viewing area.  This means you don't have to sit on the hot pavement an hour before the parade starts to reserve your spot.  I have used FastPass+ for the Festival of Fantasy parade at the Magic Kingdom and it was wonderful strolling in there about 15 minutes before the start.  It's less crowded and the viewing location is great.

The same goes with the fireworks.  Here is an excellent article explaining how it all works: http://blog.touringplans.com/2014/04/17/disney-world-magic-kingdom-fastpass-parade-fireworks-tips/

    Have a magical day!
