    Lillie Asked

Hi, I love this panel. My husband and I along with our seven, three and one year old are coming in june to wdw. Which is better wilderness lodge or new orleans french quarter for the kids? Thanks!

Hi Lillie!  The two resorts you mentioned are both wonderful Disney lodging choices!

With the age of your children I will assume you will make the Magic Kingdom a popular place to visit several times through-out your vacation.  For this reason I would choose the Wilderness Lodge since it is in close proximity to that park.  You can take a short bus ride or catch the water taxi to reach the entrance.  The amenities for that resort are wonderful as well and you will often feel like you are somewhere out west versus just a stones throw to America's most popular theme park.  To read more about this resort click HERE.

Port Orleans is a wonderful resort as well.  I recommend it to many people as the ambience is relaxed and beautiful.  If you thought you would be spending a lot of time in Downtown Disney then this would be a great choice but with small children the draw is usually the Magic Kingdom!
