Hi! Love the panel - it is so helpful! My 5 yo is 100% g-tube fed but our generous hosts purchased the dining plan for him. According to AAA, we can't exclude him from the plan. How can we best make use of his tix? We have 2 adults/1 other child. Thx!!!

    Hi Kristine,

How wonderful to have your dining taken care of on your trip!

After speaking with cast members, my recommendation would be to talk to the cast member at your resort to see if your son can have the dining plan removed. While there is no guarantee the cast member could remove the dining from your package, it is worth the try to ask them once you arrive.

If your dining plan must stay for your son, I do not think it will go to waste. In general, guests are assigned all meals to a plan to their tickets. So if you are there for five days on the basic dining plan and you are four guests, you would start with a balance of 20 counter service meals, 20 snacks and 20 table service meals. These credits are yours to use during your stay however you like. So if you wanted to use three counter service meals for each of you in one day, your counter service credit would be reduced by 12 on that day.

With this in mind, you will have no problem using the additional snacks and counter service meals for your other child traveling with you. Disney will also use a table service meal out a counter service location so you could use a meal this way. Disney also does not distinguish between a child snack and an adult snack so either adult could use that snack credit.

I hope this helps and that you have a magical vacation!
